Solve and Serve

"You're hired to bring solutions, not problems,"

Expectation is tricky. The above written seems so ordinary and straight forward. Yet, a normal route for you might already be considered a problem to them. A successful task completed might be an issue arose to the firm. A small casual talk could risk your whole career.

"Whatever it takes" can mean a lot of things - unimaginable things. Sometimes things you won't want to ever consider through your entire life, or it's just simply out of your norms. Not too bad, there are others who's willing to go across borders. However, we are to bring solutions, not problems, and not doing anything is a problem. Even there are times to feel insecure, just to breathe. Solutions and results are the only value we have. It's okay at times to voice out problems. Yet, we are only valued by our capability to solve and give results. No one will give you a star for raising out an issue. Problems are fine, but most of the time, people are more interested when you continue, "So, I propose that we do this,". Thus, there's another issue that to whom you're solving the problem for and who will benefit best from the result produced?

Insecured to talk, act and walk. Freeze should not even be an option. Eager to move. Yet, I'm tired. Aiya, tomorrow die la.

I suppose it's how you deal with expectation that makes you who you are.

it's true, but that i reckon that only meant for us alone. something i like to quote from the movie "the last kiss,";

"Stop talking about love. Every asshole in the world says he loves somebody. It means nothing. It still doesn't mean anything. What you feel only matters to you. It's what you do to the people you say you love, that's what matters. It's the only thing that counts."

what we feel is only for us. to feel content, to be satisfied. but what we do for others, that's another thing. at least that's how i perceive it.

well, ppl say "i love u" all the time till it loses its meaning when u just say it and do nothing much about thus take the relationship for granted. i'd prefer u don't say it and show that u care about the person by helping her in needs, buy her flowers, help her to bed when she's sick etc. but ppl will always strive for the balance of things; where u don't have to say i love u too many times but say it occasionally is enough given that u prove to the partner by taking good care of her, make her happy and u dont have to buy her diamonds, golds, platinum credit cards nope its not necessary. its a bonus nonetheless.

eh, i thot its about work? jadi love issue plak.

nway, true the firm needs to train their staffs. but in this competitive world, why they should spend anything on u if they could spend the same amount or less and get better result from another person? its arguable tho due to strict control of staff turnovers but yeah, in some line of work, it can just be that cruel.

owh well, work hard :)
