Worthy 8

I like forwarded e-mails. Although sometimes it's rather irritating whenever my messenger kept unnecessarily alerting me for some of those bullshit stuffs, I'd still like to enjoy the benefit from forwarded e-mails. Sarcastic. No I'm not being one at the moment.

Probably, most of the time, out of 100 forwarded e-mails, 10-20 of them might be useful and relevantly beneficial for me to have a look. Apparently, that's about how much the same we get in lecture or class lessons, unless you're geek so sue me because I'm cooler than you. Being cool and stupid. No, I don't want that. Anyway, without any proper reference or research background to back me up here, humans attention in a educational lectures only last up to 30-40 minutes. No, the ADD and ADHD dudes are not included in this no-basis-theory of mine. Anyway, afterward, the input mechanism of the brain starts to subside and our mind concentration towards a focused subject, which is the source of education, starts to weaken. Hence, we start to think of something else, choose some alternate activities or worse, fall into sleep. Furthermore, out of the most possible 40 minutes attention span, each human might take only up to 10-20% from the time period. Meaning, only 8 minutes out of the 40 minutes of the lecture will be considered as relevant and useful to them.

No, I'm not implementing that you just should spend only 8 minutes in the lecture hall and buzz off. Unless, you yourself wish to do so, yeah feel free to skip lectures. Thus, you'll lose chances and opportunities in education, get stupid, become a moron, fail exams, extent subjects and graduate late so then yeah fewer of you in the job search race would give me the better odds in getting myself one.

The 'Worthy 8', as what I like to call it, does not come in the continuous 480 seconds basis. It may spread along the 40 minutes lecture in minor seconds and accumulates up to the quality 8 minutes of the time. Thus, you have to focus for the whole 40 minutes to gain the 'Worthy 8'. Once you dream off something else or for asleep in lectures, you'll lose parts of these 8 minutes or worse, you'll end up with nothing. You may never know when opportunity of this 'Worthy 8' strikes. However, this theory only applies onto the ability of humans own concentration to vocal education transfer. When you start taking notes or use sound recording methods to learn, those are just some additional learning aid to boost up your input capability. Technology. Yes, notepads and pencils are considered as technology as well. Don't put all the blame on the invention of televisions and electronic microwaves. It's the progress of humanity in advancement to make life's much more easier. Pencils help us to write down things. Back then people had to carved on rocks. Imagine having to write a 1000 words essay in 2 hours on carving stones.

Anyway, back to the main issues, whatever that was, the human brain chooses for us what we like to learn about. Each of the brain individually processed the information around especially for us, uniquely and personally. The individuality of us enhances the brain to comprehend different things at different values and thus, the diversity among people exists. Imagine, in the 40 minutes of lecture, 2400 seconds of vocal education transfer, as each seconds value differently to different people, there are about millions of combination to accumulate up to the 'Worthy 8' for each individuals!

"Humor is the timeless antidote to life. The beauty of our humanity is that we are imperfect. It is our imperfections and our idiosyncrasies that make us such a wonderfully unique species,"
-Tan Sri Dato' Professor Dr Lim Kok Wing-

I just read in my past forwarded e-mails collection: "A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change and she does." Funny. I hope you enjoy it as well.
