"Patience is a virtue."
Well, we all have heard of this saying.
"Good things come to those who wait."
"Sabar separuh daripada iman."
Somewhere along those lines.
Many of us believe that we are patience on certain things. Some of us don't get mad easily, have great control of emotions, always looks for the glass half full, etc. All of these are with awareness that the benefit of waiting has an acceptable expiry period - or just simply, a possibility to happen.
"Menunggu bulan jatuh ke riba."
Self-control defines a person - well, to a certain extent of course. I see no problem in rushing into things or wait for another year to catch the bus. If you have a good reason for it, why not? Patience is idiotic if you're willing to wait forever with false hope. Patience is not the best choice if your idiotic daughter raised her voice to you wanting her belly to be pierced. Well, I'm not saying you should go and hit her. I'm saying that delaying responses, whatever that maybe, may not best fit the situation.
Some say false patience.
I say nothing wrong of being angry of the situation. It is human to express disappointment or disapproval. It is inhuman to use that reason to stab another person. It is human to forgive him and prosecute him accordingly. It is inhuman to make sure he'll be tortured and eaten alive by dogs. It is human to make sure it is right to do so.
Patience has limit too. It doesn't give you the right to slap her in the face - but you should not just sleep on it and see what happens.
So many times, I found myself to be the lesser part of this.

within choices of reactions, as mention in previous entry, it is perhaps better to lean on the choice that can benefit more than just yourself.
